February 2025 Newsletter

chayalsangels

Dear Beautiful Angels,

I hope this message finds you well and that the first month of 2025 has been kind to you.

It’s hard to believe how quickly January has flown by. I wanted to take a moment to reflect on some of the incredible things that have happened—both personally for Israel and for Chayal’s Angels.

This month, I took my first real break since this all began, spending a few days in the desert with some of the incredible people I’ve grown closest to through Chayal’s Angels. It was deeply needed, and I’m beyond grateful for these friends who love and support me so fiercely. The time away did wonders for my nervous system. If you’ve never had the chance to camp in Mitzpe Ramon, I highly recommend it! There are no words to describe the experience of lying beneath a sky filled with stars and planets, feeling the peace of the desert by a glowing campfire.

On a broader scale, Lebanon and Israel have agreed to extend the current ceasefire until February 18th.

In January, Chayal’s Angels visited 8 bases and provided 738 treatments. But perhaps even more exciting…

We have officially surpassed 10,000 individual treatments in just 15 months!!!

I am truly speechless. This milestone is a testament to the dedication, love, and unwavering support of every single volunteer and donor who has made this possible.

Celebrate With Us! Take a look at our latest video celebrating this achievement on Facebook and Instagram—and don’t forget to share it!

This past month, we have welcomed home 13 of our brothers and sisters from being held hostage in gaza. This is a HUGE miracle, especially after Hamas not releasing anyone for the past 14 months.

However since December 2023 to date the IDF have rescued and brought home

Noa Argamani, Almog Meir Jan, Andrei Kozlov, Shlomi Ziv, Louis Har, Fernando Marman, Farhan al-Qadi, and most recently Doron Steinbrecher, Romi Gonen, Emily Damari, Karina Ariev, Liri Albag, Daniella Gilboa, Naama Levy, Arbel Yehoud, Gadi Moses, Yarden Bibas, Ofer Kalderon, Keith Siegel and five Thai nationalists.

The IDF also managed to bring home the bodies of those that were murdered

Ofir Tzarfati, Alon Shamriz, Yotam Haim, Samer Talalka, Itai Svirsky, Yousef Zayadni, Hamza Zayadni, Eden Zecharya, IDF Warrant Officer Ziv Dado, Elia Toledano, Corporal Nik Beizer, Sgt. Ron Sherman, Elad Katzir, Amit Buskila, Shani Louk, Ron Binyamin, Itzhak Gelernter, Orión Hernández Radoux, Hanan Yablonka, Michel Nisenbaum, Maya Goren, Master Sgt. (res.) Oren Gildin, Staff Sgt.
