Dear Angels,
We’re thrilled to start the year with a bang and share some exciting updates with you. First, a heartfelt thank you to the Bimah Foundation whose generosity made it possible for us to purchase something we’ve been desperately needing for a long time. Many of you know our beloved car, Alejandro—our “angel on the road.” Well, Alejandro now has a new partner! Meet Raphael, our brand-new trailer, ready to carry all our equipment and help us transport even more volunteers to Base Days.
Getting Raphael was no small feat, and the challenges along the way made it even more rewarding when, at 3:30 PM on December 31st, 2024, I finally drove away with him. Looking back, it’s incredible to see how far we’ve come—from strapping beds to the roof of my little Mazda 2 to now having the tools we need to grow our impact. This moment wouldn’t have been possible without each of you. Now, let’s fill Raphael with more beds and continue spreading healing to those who need it most.
December was a powerful month for Chayal’s Angels. We closed the year by delivering 783 treatments across eight Base Days, and January is already off to an amazing start. I just got home from another beautiful base day, supported by an incredible team of volunteers.
Today, we had
3 chiropractors- one from Canada, Florida, and Georgia
2 acupuncturists- one an oleh and one from St. Louis
4 massage therapists, including 3 Olim and one from Canada,
1 yoga instructor - an oleh,
2 sound and energy healers- both olim.
Together, this team gave 105 treatments in just four hours! Talk about starting 2025 with a bang!
